I had a really good phone call with my long-time friend Alan last night. It made me appreciate having people you can be vulnerable with and how that can improve my mood. That also reminded me I should really start talking to a therapist.

There is a collection of stories in a variety of topic areas that you can choose to read.</p>\n\n<p>As I began reading, I noticed that very few of the stories were from the same magazine. Instead, I was reading stories that interested me, not magazines that interested me. That\u2019s a huge distinction.</p>\n\n</blockquote>\n\n<p>Jim Dalrymple gets it. Leading up to the <a href=\"https://jaredwhite.com/tag/Apple\">#Apple</a> event and even afterwards, I noticed a lot of eye-rolling online about how this was just <em>Newsstand</em> all over again and how this would be a failure just as Apple\u2019s past forays into the digital magazine space were.</p>\n\n<p>But News+ is a <strong>totally different model</strong> compared to the previous \u201ceach-publication-is-an-app\u201d approach. News+ is one app. No matter which magazine or newspaper you\u2019re currently reading, you are using only one app with a consistent and unified reading experience.</p>\n\n<p>And perhaps most importantly, you don\u2019t have to manage a ton of different subscriptions to various publications\u2026which adds the congitive overhead of trying to pick and choose which ones to subscribe to or not to maintain a sensible cash flow. With Apple News+, you have one subscription. That\u2019s it. One charge per month and you have access to everything.</p>\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been surprised how much I\u2019m using Apple News+\u2026on my iPhone. Of course it\u2019s a delightful reading experience on the iPad with its big beautiful display, but it works astonishingly well on iPhone. Apple even kicked off its News+ presentation showing the app running on an iPhone. That\u2019s impressive.</p>\n\n<p>I\u2019m definitely paying for News+ past the trial period, and I\u2019m excited to see how the service grows and evolves down the road.</p>",

Is it still useful to publish an RSS/Atom feed at all, or do all the feed readers that matter support h-feed and h-atom (http://microformats.org/wiki/h-feed)? Seems silly to produce an XML copy of a feed now."
