RFC 3023 is a bunch of hot nonsense. For XML served via HTTP, it creates an absurd character encoding decision tree based on:
1. The MIME type in the Content-type response header
2. The charset in the Content-type response header
3. The <?xml> prolog’s encoding attribute

That instilled this nature of making sure either everyone else is okay before I lock things down for myself OR making sure we can all get some. This isn’t something that’s really done heavily outside of families / social structures that focus on capital gain over communal gain. I wonder if it’s something you have to be taught into.

I’ve always tried to bend time to my will using the Pomodoro method. Sadly my 25 minute blocks are regularly interrupted by this woof on a 10 minute interval for more belly rubs.

I'm looking for an easy-to-maintain CLA bot that *doesn't* require contributors to be GitHub users in order to be whitelisted or to sign the CLA. Git is an open, decentralized protocol, after all. CLAassistant is ruled out because of this - is anyone using one they love?

Since this #oextend is in curator series, I'll turn it on it's ear & recommend my own faux cast. It's a self-curated list of all the podcasts that I've actually listened to & frequently comment on. [more...]
