I’m having a great time at @IndieWebSummit. Today is hack day. Not sure exactly what I’ll work on but I’m thinking of adding the option to generate follow posts from Yarns Microsub Server. When you follow a feed, Yarns could automatically create a follow post. Unfollow that feed and the follow post could be unpublished. This could make it easy to share who you’re following, which could make it easier for everyone to discover interesting feeds to follow.
Motivate by yesterday’s discovery/follow session, which I didn’t attend but fortunately had detailed notes: https://etherpad.indieweb.org/follow

Do y’all understand how easy it is to make a fake tweet from a screenshot? Like by inspecting the browser and changing the text? It’s like MySpace-day levels of “simple”. I don’t trust posts I can’t search up on archives. And if you do have a link, archive it (not in an image but using an reputable archiving service).
