Working on a book cover tonight inspired from an illustration of a banyan tree drawn by Sue earlier today.
Okay, going to try this again then have dinner (super late). Going to try using Ubuntu under WSL2 over at twitch.tv/jackyalcine. For real this time. #streaming #livecoding (v2.jacky.wtf/post/f7041af8-…)

Can you confirm that it’s not biodegradable plastic? Also, your timing to do “cleaning” with the protest BBQs of BBQ-while-Black is timely - almost targeted. There’s dozens of events that happen on the lake on weekends and I’ve seen equal amounts of trash. https://twitter.com/melissacolorado/status/1154233355774205952. Keep it a stack.

Bruh, lol. There’s no way people are using WSL 2 for actual work. I’ve been waiting for like ~30 minutes now.

This doesn’t make sense.

How long does it take people to install Ubuntu under WSL 2 on Windows? I’ve been waiting like 20 minutes now to no avail. I’m still waiting. (v2.jacky.wtf/post/d2c83950-…)

A stranger just prayed for my wrist. Never a dull time on the bus.

Okay wow, this is going to be fun, lol. If you want to watch a Linux user attempt to use WSL2 on a vanilla Windows 10 instance, pop onto https://twitch.tv/jackyalcine in like 8 minutes, lol.

And this is how it looks when you attempt to disable everything. @ronbronson, is this dark enough of a pattern to employ (the language seems slightly teasing).

Finishing up my Insider preview and still kinda surprised that Windows is like “oh these are the ‘recommended’ settings”. A lot of this translates to give me data.

And there’s no easy toggle to disable all at once. You’d have to manually click each one.

We got 18 months to cut emissions by 45% before we really hit a point of no return. Like Space X better get lunar colonization popping. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-48964736

Can't prove that this was related to the Sunday event but go off
Liquor bottles, straws, plastic forks, 🍗 bones, leftover coal & 1 used diaper. That’s some of the trash at #LakeMerritt that I picked up today. A respectful plea to...
Ok, all you people calling for impeachment need to shut up. The House would impeach, but the Senate would not convict, giving Cheetoh momentum to victory for 2020. Play the long game, people: focus on outing him in 16 months, FFS. #onetermpresident

I’m REALLY curious about WSL2 (I only tried WSL) so I’m about to get this Win10 insider popping.
