what trips me up more is that transplants to NYC my age are saying it too and I squint like "no, don't do that"
Nah. It's just that we've aged out of the slang the kids use. I'm never saying "no cap," and as far as I'm concerned "shook" still means scared.

If you just made a commit but want to add a file to it, run `git commit --amend --reuse-message=HEAD $FILE` to add it and not have to add a message.
