Lmfao, son. People low-key shocked about this tweet but this is NOT uncommon behavior/parlance in tech. I've walked into tech meetups (I don't go anymore) in both NYC and the Bay where rhetoric like this was handed out nearly out of earshot.
Fact check: WAT‽

This is going to go in a circle, though. Are handbooks are going to be updated? Will companies take on the likes of ReadySet thereadyset.co/about to help change their company's culture? Are y'all just going to retweet or will y'all actually make some change?

Crazy idea: there will be no iPadOS 13.0 release. Apple ships iOS 13 only for iPhone and waits until 13.1 for iPads. (Been running the public betas on my iPad Pro and damn the SpringBoard is still buggy as hell.) Thoughts? @jsnell @viticci @stroughtonsmith
Javascript framework wackiness isn't just a client-side issue. I recently looked at docs for a server-side JS/Typescript framework. Task was simply to load users from a database and output JSON. It looked like early 2000s Java crap. We need Ruby on Rails to rescue us again?!?!
