        "text": "I'm definitely a very \"connected\" person. After an hour or so of being up in the, I'm checking the cached notifications that appear when my phone leaves \"Do Not Disturb\" mode. It's from an array of platforms (YouTube, Patreon, Twitter, Instagram and mailing lists). I've always kept my subscriptions on YouTube low because the act of watching video is a very isolating operation. Patreon was easy to because it costs money. Today we looked at the shape of the research article.Students got into groups and then tried to trace the shape of the article.We then discussed how the genre of research like a fable has a very common pattern to follow. Next we defined key terms students may come across when reading research.Overall it was a fun day of learning. I found it quite invaluable to have students dissect the text structure of a research article and then define key terms educators will come across.",
