Wait... now hearing JONAH HILL will be playing The Riddler!

Oh, @Apple, you know I love you, but breaking Gmail configuration in Internet Accounts with Safari 13 is NOT COOL. There are probably millions of folks who can’t use email today Here’s the console error message: load failed with error Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-999
I want to say that about 75% of the jobs (client work + FTE) have been through networking of people I've met / known either on here or from offline spaces. Despite people following me for the "content" lol

Is there a way to filter out Twitter posts from anyone who has Husband, Father, etc. in their bio? (Let's throw in Pastor too for good measure.) For some reason they usually turn out to be total a$$es. #ToxicMasculinity
HUGE KUDOS to the display team at Apple for what they've achieved with the iPhone 11 Pro line. After a bit of review time at the Apple Store, my OLED complaints (see jaredwhite.com/links/20190617… for example) are gone! High marks from DisplayMate: 9to5mac.com/2019/09/23/iph…
I just blogged about RFC 242 (write.as/365-rfcs/rfc-2…) which to me is mostly notable for being co-authored by Lois Haibt, who was the only woman on the core FORTRAN dev team at IBM. You can read a long, fascinating interview with her here: ethw.org/Oral-History:L…

My #edu106 @scsu photo scavenger hunt challenge

Today in #edu106 we started the photography element of the class. We began with our discussion as, "What if we turned our cameras out on to the workd rather than just using the fron camera to document us in the world."

We then had fifteen minutes to run around campus and take photos.

I share mine.

In the first photo I did a closeup of a read flower with a blurred background. We will learn about key terms like foreground, background, and framing.

In the second photo I want to encourage students to play with lines and angles. You see a shot of a chain linked fence.

In the third photo I wanted to stress the importance of texture but found this little seed grasping to a storm drain. There is a metaphor there somewhere.

The last photo is the same red flower but on a slight angle and it filling a third of the photo.

C++20 has support for modules?!?! Like on some: import hello; int main() { hello::say("hello module!"); return 0; } jazz?! This is actually amazing! (v2.jacky.wtf/post/121e23b5-…)
