Seek simplicity
In consumption
That which enters a body
gets ripped from soil

Seek simplicity
In markets
local dollars feed
mouths of friends

Seek simplicty
In community
Rooted in shared values
of impossible visions

Seek simplicity
In solutions
Doing right, easy
Hard to ignore once known.
Knowing what's right?

Man, macOS Mojave Security Update 2020-001 was a nail-biter on my 2010 Mac Pro. Over 8 friggin’ hours to install, with what appeared to be complete freeze at times. I actually put a sticky note on the monitor, aligned with the edge the progress bar so I could see if it moved

#IndieWeb Meetup! — with Marty, microformats
Spotify has delivered me vintage Placebo while I make bus schedule feeds and it's making me strangely nostalgic.
wow it's interesting that reposting on twitter and facebook is totally normal, but do that on your own site and you're a content farmer. #indieweb
I love how the Twitter Cards for alwaysownyourplatform.com appear. Reminds me of @kevinmarks' experiment Decaying Silos as Dead Malls. Makes me think I should do something similar when I syndicate my content to social silos? Hmmm… boffosocko.com/2020/02/19/557…
So grateful and excited to be back @devnexus this year! I'll be talking about @vuejs and @springboot - with and without @jhipster. I'll also be debuting the @oktadev / @heroku add-on. Ok - enough of this @ salad! See you there...
Tryphème’s ‘Away from Prying Eyes’ really nails a ‘The Field, but IDM’ vibe and it’s super super good. youtu.be/I0X-vXj4P_k
what do people know about G*llermo R*uch? Every time I end up on a right-wing profile on here, their name pops up as a follower?!?!

It’s an #IndieWeb Meetup! Tonight in NYC at Think Coffee on Mercer 6-8pm.

Meet IndieWeb co-founder, co-author of several W3C specs, prolific host of IndieWeb services, and hot sauce afficionado Aaron Parecki!

I love this kind of tweet from this bot because it both stands on its own as a context-free hilarious statement AND makes me think it must be one of those “this sounds like…” comments that then teaches me about three different songs named ‘Chihuahua’: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chihuahua…

Remembered an album I haven’t listened to in way too long, Bergheim 34’s ‘It’s Not for You as It Is for Us,’ and the joyful little ditty ‘Random Access Memory.’ Found about this album via @ntabebe’s Pitchfork review back in 2003 and it’s still great. youtube.com/watch?v=eao6Um…
