Black Americans don’t gate keep enough in my humble opinion lol
Bubbles break on
surfaces of impossible
futures as we
swim in realities,
dancing in what is
known
Kicks
Of cousins'
Embrace rewrites
Fate in splashes
of histories
Unwinding
mysteries
You, Danny, Ollie,
and little RZA
dance in water
Fun fodder no one
will
Recall for love and
Memory defined by soul
And heart not broken
possibility.

Minus 50% is more like it: I had just been scratching my head when "analysts" were talking about China possibly "slightly missing the 6% growth target". What do you expect if everybody stays home, and public transport utilization in places is down 85%? cnn.com/2020/02/27/bus

Something has been off all month and I just realized what it was. I haven’t been bookmarking enough books and hadn’t downloaded anything new to read in nearly 20 days. In general there just hasn’t been enough reading going on this month. (boffosocko.com/?p=55768242)

Song-naming/credit-giving in electronic music often confuses me. Why is Four Tet’s single ‘Baby’ crediting Ellie Goulding’s vocals, but, say, ‘Pyramid’ doesn’t credit Jennifer Lopez? Some combination of avoiding sample clearance and artistic secrecy, I guess, but I don’t get it.
Are there any good resources out there from people who have run successful online-only conferences? Like best practices, tough lessons learned, that sort of thing. Or have any of you participated in an online-only conference that you loved and could point me to it?
IMHO #coronavirus is the perfect opportunity for Democrats -- in particular on the "socialist" end -- to highlight why their policies are better. Would be nice if it didn't take a calamity, but here we are.
