This reset of my life is going to get interesting. Here’s the plan:
- Move active silo accounts into read-only informing their state
- Configure https://forget.codl.fr/ to get more aggressive with content deletion with other tools
- Resolve to only keep new tweets for a week then delete afterwards
- Add syndication links as canonical URIs in markup
I don’t know how this’ll look for Instagram. I think I’m good with regards to that; might just archive a lot of it.

Just a little reminder that it's probably a bad idea to engage in any political arguments online right now. (Unless you yourself are a politician.)
Otherwise you're just adding to the deafening noise.
Hardly anyone really "knows" what's going on right now. Stay humble 🙏

Can someone explain the logic behind macOS not supporting DP MST (Display Port Multi Stream Transport)? It’s not a hardware thing because Intel Integrated Graphics support it (Windows, Linux AND FreeBSD support it).
It makes using a Apple laptop on a dock VERY dongle-heavy.

So I’m like in the process of deleting things and I’m realizing that having my personal server run in NYC is the only reason why my uncle gets decent speeds on our family’s private social cloud. I’m strongly seeing the value in P2P stuff but at the same time, I don’t want to be like the modern Web and force users into heavy constraints that automatically age out their computers.
