Tbh, this is like my prime state, lol. Granted, I do miss the kickbacks but we’ve managed to replace it and still get the same vibe. Really highlighted the people who know how to have a good time versus those who suck energy. https://twitter.com/TheAmyCode/status/1250864721542041600

I wish sites asked for permissions before they ask for permission for things. Since everyone imports 6,000 things from random locations, I have NO idea what’s asking for things.

Not knowing leads to blind trust (encourages users to just click “accept” - dark pattern).

Shoutout to all the folks who live alone ❤️ I’ve been staving off feeling isolated by keeping busy: scheduling regular zooms with friends, fussing over my plants, ...

The worst part is that I have no viable option to replace my laptop, because Apple has a gaping hole in the middle of the lineup. The new 16" MBP looks great, but is far too big. The MacBook Air is underpowered for me. The 13" MBP hasn't been updated yet. Sigh.

Fair trade stuff is so hard to find. Like I’ve been attempting to source that as much as possible in my home. But like getting new bedsheets is even challenging. PimaCott is ideal for the PNW and PSW but like grr.

My 2017 13" MacBook Pro is really not working well for me anymore. Its becoming clear that a 3.1 GHz i5 and 16 GB of RAM is insufficient for my day-to-day. This is partially due to the fact that all computers now have 78 instances of Chromium running...

If I had a car, I’d be spending time doing drop offs. All I can do right now is reallocate funds for those who need more.

That and I’ve been doing take out from spots I want to see still open directly (like calling them versus using Doordash, Uber Eats). Not worth it when those “middle men” companies aren’t working to help or protect employees. There’s an angle that there’s people in the gig space who need this traffic and I do understand that’s a loss.
