New post: Plaidophile: Followup from yesterday beesbuzz.biz/blog/4052-Foll… So, the update from yesterday is that I am now on anticoagulants again, and I am not terribly happy about it. On the plus side I’m on Xarelto which takes way less management than Warfarin, but on the minus …

Today I discovered Joe Biden's campaign has been texting my 9-year-old and her responses are honestly incredible
My neighbor just knocked on my door, and asked about the @sarahforpdx sign in my window. She and her roommate are filling out their ballots tonight, wanted to know the difference between Ted and Sarah, and figured they'd ask.
A great thread. This is why every property owned by Very Stable Genius in every city should be condemned under eminent domain, demolished, and memorials listing every American who died on his watch dedicated there.
A thread about the coronavirus, Star Trek, the Vietnam War and what we're forgetting...

Got some push to deploy stuff working for my internal setup. I rent a remote server for $20/mo so I figure I put it to use. Good learnings on how to keep that stuff up. Next is to have my site rebuild automatically as well as triggering some other things like fetching data when needed (light scraping).

Once I finish that, I might consider working on sketching out a proper splash page for Lighthouse and Lwa. Need to get a unified footer and start using it.

I was once in line behind Stephen Merchant at a Borders on Oxford Street. Around 2004, maybe. I was buying a packet of Fruit Pastilles.

Now, more than ever, we should share our most mundane celebrity encounters. For example, in 2002 I saw Diane Keaton in the Gap
I’ve been using hooks extensively on a new project and can’t shake the feeling that, while they’re conceptually a good abstraction, they’re a mismatch for the language.

I was gonna call @Malarkey but it’s 10:45pm in the UK. Waaay past his bed time. Living the rocknroll life.

Something most developers go through and might dread and in the words of @Mads_Hartmann, can also be a thrilling and great learning experience - being on call! Peep ShiftShiftForward's latest episode by @glitch!
