Hey #edu407 here are the start of my notes on the CRT and #literacies video: quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2020/06/03/lra… I don't do videos in one sitting...20 minutes pretty much my max. Other than donating, giving my small platform over to black voices, signing petitions/calling officials, and doing the work on my own racism - is there other things I can do safely without being in the streets?
I am about thisclose to risking rona as an immunosuppressed person.

TIL that a "petard" is a high explosive used to break down doors, and to be "hoisted" by it is to be rapidly accelerated vertically. So, for example, a police officer who tries to enter into someone's home using misplaced explosives might be hoisted by their own petard.

So if you’re like me and use https://min.io/, you might need to do some manual deletion of files once in a while. Some of the files I uploaded had spaces in them. For some reason, this doesn’t play well with mc find so I did the following:
mc rm --force $(mc find $BUCKET/ --name "$PREFIX" | xargs)
where $BUCKET is the prefix to the bucket path in question and $PREFIX is the prefix of the name of the file I’m aiming to delete.
