Journalists who want to know more about why kpop fans are amplifying BLM stuff and how they manage to pull it off should I think at least *try* to talk to the fans themselves but also yes academics like @mhc727 who study them are a great bet too.
Journalists if you need to get background on K-pop fans and social media and get some good quotes for K-pop, please get in touch with Prof Michelle Cho @mhc727

Too much work for a quick ephemeral nod.If someone wrote something I will need later or I feel should shape my thinking I bookmark the artifact. If I want to engage with them I send a reply. If I want to thank someone I keep a manually h/t on the post which I can then search for the plain text.Reposted: https://twitter.com/dogtrax/status/1268110972650127362Reposted and Liked: https://twitter.com/dogtrax/status/1267757099238461440Reposted and Liked: https://twitter.com/elpatronhimself/status/1267972106727424000Liked: https://twitter.com/elpatronhimself/status/1267969135776014336Liked: https://twitter.com/Kimmyfernand24/status/1267484880083902464Reposted: https://twitter.com/dogtrax/status/1267770568566353920Reposted and Liked: https://twitter.com/dogtrax/status/1267745070989619200Liked: https://twitter.com/easegill/status/1268140620175994881Liked: https://twitter.com/MsDarkPoetry/status/1268151388376379396\u00a0I give out likes and reposts like I do stickers and candy in the classroom. Other than donating, giving my small platform over to black voices, signing petitions/calling officials, and doing the work on my own racism - is there other things I can do safely without being in the streets?
I am about thisclose to risking rona as an immunosuppressed person.
