Hey @brentsimmons I appreciate your patience, kindness, and contributions to the macOS and open web ecosystems. Zed is a troll. Always has been. Ignore him. He’s got a small army of troll acolytes as well. Ignore them too.

HUGE comback in my personal life yesterday — I got to be a dad again! Spent a glorious afternoon with my kids after we were apart for months. Not out of the legal woods yet, but it's a major step forward. 😃🥰

lol https://headlesscms.org/ is slowly (not really) moving away from actually focusing on headless systems and just being a promo site for JAMStack. Why not use a different domain for that versus cannibalizing that space?

Some things I want for my local environment to help facilitate my moving away from GitHub:

  • A CLI tool that I can hook into my editor so I can mirror a repository to my Gitea install
  • Synchronize refs Gitea to the forked repository on GitHub (something https://git.jacky.wtf/github-mirrors/jalcine._.linux to https://github.com/jalcine/linux using ._. as delineation).
  • Rewire vim-fugitive to open Git links in the browser in my Gitea install.
  • Support for deleting mirrors and the ‘fork’ when I have no more open merge requests for a few days.

I wouldn’t even need to comment explicitly on GitHub because I’d be posting to my own site first. I could pipe in all responses on e-mail to a separate feed but I primarily see replies to things via e-mail anyway.
