What might have been cool in Avatar: The Last Airbender would have been if the Avatar could never develop other bending abilities. If their talent was assembling a team of air, earth, water and fire benders so cohesive it seemed as if they had all abilities. The legend was fake.

Netflix did a poor job recasting the Queen in season 3 of The Crown. It looks like Elizabeth aged 20 years from 1963-1964. They should have recasted in mid season 3 or in season 4.
