But my biggest objection? Noise canceling headphones are for travel. That case is an absolute abomination. They’re almost certainly going to announce a hard shell case, but I’d bet it costs an absurd amount of money. Should be bundled.

I think AirPods Max at $299 would absolutely fly off the shelves, becoming the new Beats, only bigger. Good enough sound, stylish, convenient, software, UX. That’s a winner!
At $550, you’ve gotta lean into “sounds better than anything else.” We shall see.
