Somehow I totally missed the memo that the Ionic Framework is fully implemented now as web components. (Which makes sense because they created Stencil, duh!)
With extensive support for CSS variables and shadow parts, this is a pretty cool starting point for a mobile-style app.

I honestly don’t understand how any developer short of the CTO of a MegaCorp can justify adopting a tech stack that only runs on a single platform (AWS for example).
I also don’t understand the rush to build everything on top of proprietary PaaS APIs.
