Honestly, it chose me. In the 90s, people would just throw money at you if you even knew what a website was. 😂 And yes, it does pay well! Nothing wrong with working in a career for the money. (cue Don Draper "that's what the money is for!" 😄)

Harari is a fabulist, a sloppy thinker and poor researcher, IMO. Just check his footnotes—when they exist. Bibliography? Ha! I finally put Sapiens down at the made-up story about the Luftwaffe using the BBC Big Ben chimes for weather forecasting.
A good example how ‘Sapiens’ works.
Harari makes his readers believe that a 20-year life expectancy for 45-year-olds means that foragers enjoyed good health.
