This is actually enough for me to delete my account on there. I can’t even use it because my phone’s too old and most of the conversations were already capitalist and imperial circle jerks so I’m good. https://twitter.com/AddyPottle/status/1358909121769086979

The more I’m hearing about this Fred Hampton movie, the more I’m reminded about how media, marketing and ads exist to warp and distort the present and change history. This movie is going to be pretty but very ahistorical.

I've been listening to a fair amount of Frank Sinatra lately, after watching the excellent 2-part biography on Netflix. I would like to be on the record about what a horrible song "High Hopes" is. 1/3

There's nothing about the Jamstack which compels me to give up the Majestic Monolith of Rails for applications which are inherently database-driven and user-scoped. But for simpler websites or apps which are mainly about content publishing…static all the way! ▶️ @bridgetownrb
Loveliest tweeps! A friendo got approached with a suggestion to have them join Google Developer Experts — could you share your thoughts, was it worthwhile for you (pre-pandemic), does it provide anything now, how does the future look like? Does it worth the effort? Etc. TY! 💜
Reading all the quote tweets and they are like “$45K”. Mine was $7.15/hr plus Sunday pay of $1.50/hr extra. Only after 16 years in the workforce and I now make $50K. 🤦🏻‍♀️ twitter.com/jeauxalejandro…

Why don’t more proprietary OS providers deliver their system images via BitTorrent or some other distributed storage system? They already handle their update delivery system with a bunch of bulk machines - this would reduce load for most. Is it because of “privacy”/lack of control?

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but… #FreeBritney (Not a fan, or a stan…however, the way she’s been treated over the years both by culture at large and by bad actors close by is nothing short of horrendous. She’s a grown woman. Leave Britney Spears alone!)
All the people quote tweeting this are acting like it's the most egregious journalistic error ever and yet fail to mention that the other A16Z co-founder actually did say the offensive word — it's almost like they're purposefully distracting from the real scandal 🤔
