How does Robotman function if he can hug someone but can’t feel it? I mean, are his motion feedback loops outside control of his brain? I guess they covered that in the ep where he learned how to move, maybe it’s like he’s controlling a game...

I'm learning crochet, so I took a great foundations class via @hyperlink_a. Now I know most of the basic stitches & will be working on my first amigurumi. Special thanks to @conservallama for guidance & patience. What a great way to spend a lazy Saturday! boffosocko.com/2021/02/24/557…

The Web is owned by like four companies. It’s okay to drop the farce about it being driven by the community because it really isn’t. https://www.theverge.com/2021/2/24/22297686/browser-extension-blocks-sites-using-google-facebook-microsoft-amazon

Hello again, Fediverse!

A post to confirm if my h-card works for Bridgy.

Everything I'd do differently if I could go back and rewrite my Android app today

This has some good tidbits but I always wondered about in-app update notices. Does this mean that the general Google Play Store is bad about this? F-Droid is very quick.

Once I added the word “browser” to “Web development”, it made more sense. Because Web development is currently only for the Web browser (and namely Google’s Chrome). Language is critical because it can either mask or expose things - and the fact of the matter is that Web development today is only for Web browsers and the majority of the pushes for ‘things’ come either from WHATWG or Chrome’s product team. The Web is a product for Google and not a commons - hence why the proprietarization of the Web is so important to them.
