Y'know what's great about Trump's speech at CPAC today? I'm not compelled to pay attention to any minute of it. He's just some random douchebag. Switch the channel off and move on. I'm looking at the sun and the trees and listening to birds chirp today. How about you? 🌲🐦🌤
After 8 years of using Runkeeper, I wanted to try out a different app for audio guided runs for a half marathon plan. Just did my first guided run with Nike Run Club and I might like it better! Very motivational which I need 😂
Portland is on fire from radical Marxist anarchists! Run for your lives!!! 😱 Also, the revolution is just beggining. 😏
Having just wrapped up a year as a therapeutic foster parent for a great 17 y/o kid, I would like to give a shout out to Maple Star Oregon, a wonderful foster care agency that supported us every step of the way. maplestaror.org
Just a reminder that virtually everything I'm seeing on Twitter about the #PortlandProtests last night is heavily biased either against "antifa" or against "capitalism" and I'm not seeing a coherent narrative on any side. 1/4

Are you finding uncanny stillness during eternal Caturday?

Uh, this ain’t right. I absolutely support people’s right to protest. But marching through a largely residential neighborhood (my neighborhood!) smashing windows and shouting profanity I simply can’t condone. 😕
I’m at Fields Park where close to 100 anti-fascists have started gathering for this evenings event #PortlandProtests #LandBack #BlackLivesMatter
Nytimes made a booboo in their crossword. Who is Keith Cobain?
gonna stream some DDR in a little bit. twitch.tv/fluffycritter
Today, I finished up the first phase on my personal health tracking system. I have all of my HealthKit data since roughly 2015 in my personal data lake. You can see visualizations here: cleverdevil.io/health and I also have integrated health data into… cleverdevil.io/2021/today-i-f…
Age of Ultron definitely improves on a second viewing. Certainly works well as a prelude to everything that came after. I think it just suffers from too much frenetic action that doesn't tell much of a story in and of itself. Took later directors to refine the formula.
Drinking a whiskey sour 🥃, eating home made pan pizza 🍕, and watching an outdoor movie 🎥 with all the kids in the neighborhood 👧 by the fire pit 🔥. Can’t beat it!
Going live in 40 minutes with this donut. Also we’ll talk about the economy or something youtu.be/oL1Xc3DGK1I
If you don't have better plans on a leisurely Saturday afternoon, and are a little mathematically inclined, I recommend you check out Bezier curves. What brilliantly simple elegance.
There's not a ton of 80s/early 90s music I've heard *not* part of my parents' backcatalog which I'm madly in love with. Depeche Mode is a *huge* exception. I don't know how I missed out until a few short years ago. Listening to Violator right now and oh my god it's EPIC. 🎶
The Synapse Will Free Us From Ourselves by @blipstress in A People’s Future of the United States is what every Black Mirror episode ever jealously wishes it was. So good.

The weekend is a cozy place for an eternal Caturday pause.

Just finished Riverbed by @omarelakkad in A People’s Future of the United States. This story will stay with me a long time. “This country is a man trying to describe a burning building without using the word _fire_.” Great writing.
