Today I'm officially announcing Posture, a feed reader service to go into beta later this summer. It's a multi-year-long side project finally seeing the light of day which I'm *very* excited about! 🤩 #BuildInTheOpen
> What's happening? Eh, just building an open source feed reader (and eventual social network) using Ruby on Rails and a bunch of grit. Nothing major or anything. 😅
Curious: how does “altitude above mean sea level” deal with rising oceans?
Looks nice. Was really hoping for a hardware update for higher resolution video output, though. A larger, nicer screen and kickstand aren’t really compelling enough to upgrade, at least for me. (Watch me upgrade anyway…)

Moore's law correctly predicted that with ever-more-powerful vaccines comes a plethora of heat management issues
I should have gotten myself one of those on the skin thermometers. I would love to know how hot the skin of my #moderna arm is. It feels super hot to touch right now.
Hello to all my European & African friends! The reason you're reading this now is because I'm trying out @typefullyapp to help me schedule out tweets. I'd use Twitter itself to do delayed sends, but it (still) lacks that feature. Typefully's pretty cool though! 👍
Nice OT win! #GoHabsGo
Hey, @vrbo, you seem to be holding on to a bunch of money that’s supposed to be refunded to me.

“…the results of the trials were overwhelmingly positive. Productivity either remained the same or actually increased, and worker wellbeing was considerably improved. Perceived stress and burnout went down, while health and work-life balance went up…” mashable.com/article/icelan…
Avoid PBT Premature Build Tooling This should be a mantra of every developer/team, alongside avoiding premature optimization and insisting on progressive enhancement. Nobody’s going to thank you for choosing TypeScript over JavaScript…when building a one-off sales dashboard.
Why yes, I did wake up too early this morning, finished watching a movie I started last night, and then went back to sleep and woke back up at 11am. It’s still sorta-kinda a holiday, right?! 🇺🇸 😄
After declaring my intention to help iterate on the Ticket extension to IndieAuth, I built an experimental ticket endpoint, which is available on my test site. I was able to test it using Martijn van Der Ven’s test form for requesting a ticket., after… di5.us/t/1Qr
