So much of what passes for "wisdom" at large tech companies is terrible advice for freelancers and small teams.
For example, the idea that code is basically disposable and you shouldn't get too attached to it. Reeks of privilege. My clients **can't afford** disposable code.

Centralization is *a* problem with Twitter, but it’s not *the* problem with Twitter.
The main problem with Twitter, IMO, is that its entire interaction model incentivizes hot takes and mass dogpiles.
Figure out how you want people to interact before you build it.
