I remember seeing a talk at FOSDEM couple years back about TinyGo and thinking "huh, a MicroPython, but for Go does sound like a quite reasonable idea" and seeing it *devour* a large chunk of the Wasm ecosystem in the past years has been absolutely incredible.
Our week of open source releases continues! This morning we released the MASSIVE Atmo Beta-4: - Go (@TinyGolang) and @grain_lang support - SQL database support (MySQL an...
Regarding the Netlify series D funding and subsequent OSS sponsorships program, I'll give you a generic answer: Beware of those who promote software architectures which really only work on a very specific type of hosting platform. It's a big problem in our industry right now.
Fwiw two years into a global pandemic I can't imagine a job hotter and more in grave need that you actually can 100% learn off of (spending entirely way too much time on) YouTube than the "I will help you tailor your digital lifeline to the outside world to your needs and budget"
Is there a person I could hire to set these things up? I’m spending way too much money on equipment that doesn’t work. (Probably incompetence) what would their job ti...

It is just unbelievable how much hatred for unhoused people dictates policy in Portland.
Portland will spend $500,000 on benches or other objects that will act as physical deterrents to stop individuals experiencing homelessness from pitching tents near parks...

Are you scrambling to get a grip during eternal Caturday?

Never apply for jobs that stress culture fit. Culture fit means monoculture. Companies work no different than agriculture. They can not escape natural laws. Sow a field with single crops and poison it for years to increase yield…lnkd.in/ezMgqMiC lnkd.in/ex2HBRPU
Malls are super common not only in middle eastern and asian cities but in really cold cold cities like Moscow. If you're fighting the weather for much of the year, economics of conglomeration for climate control has benefits. Even Berlin has big malls in Transit stations.

There’s a ton of new stuff in the latest Safari TPs, including CSS’ accent-color for form elements! 🙌 However…docs may be lagging. For example there’s a bunch of info in a PR for updating the compatibility charts on MDN which hasn’t gone up yet (including accent-color). 👀
