Thankfully, someone reverse engineered their API. I now route the thermostat’s traffic through a proxy which simulates their API, and I have complete control without any need for their broken services. The nerds always win!

I stopped paying attention to him when I heard him (blatently) plagerize a joke on Politically Incorrect. Probably not missing anything.
