Do you have your own idea of how to rest during eternal Caturday?

Y’all this is gonna be rough. Free skate starts at 2AM for me 😅😅 Cheering for all clean skaters to have the skates of their life.
You know, I remember a time when people were trying to build technology & collaborative infra to facilitate economic sharing, decreasing the stranglehood of unfeeling capitalism-at-all-costs. Things like makerspaces, tool libraries, carsharing, etc. How TF did we end up here??
"Though we may be the last in the world, we feel like pioneers"
This will only make like 25% sense if you’re not a figure skating fan but it’s hilarious if you are. Doping scandal as mean girls
To realize the potential power of your zettelkasten, you need to be able to reuse your notes. (boffosocko.com/?p=55802082)
After I make a photo of the post, I can add the date/time stamp and any other meta data, and keep the original handwritten copy for later uses. (boffosocko.com/?p=55802074)
This small, green pocket memo book with a “frame” layout seems to be the perfect form factor for short handwritten notes to post to Twitter. A Twitter notebook if you will. Thanks Midori. (boffosocko.com/?p=55802070)
Paramount is a great brand to consolidate around, and Paramount+ is actually one of my favorite streaming services these days. Nice to see forward motion on this front. twitter.com/comicbook/stat…

Tell me you've never built software product before without telling me you've never built a software product before. Them: "We don't need to worry about that. It doesn't happen very often." Me: "But it does happen?" Them: "Yeah, sometimes." Me: "😐"

Do you have your own idea of winding down during eternal Caturday?

Whoever thought a single news feed was a good idea? Just the people who want to keep you scrolling methinks. Imagine if newspapers didn't have separate sections for sports, business, local, obituaries but it was all somehow a single sequence ...

I hate "increase of risk" as a metric by itself. Going from 50% to 100% is the same "increase of risk" as going from 0.5% to 1% yet these are VERY different things with VERY different ramifications! Instead publish absolute risk values like "risk of blah increases from X% to Y%".
Having Covid increases the risk for heart failure by 72%, heart attack by 63%, and stroke by 52%, according to a post-Covid health effect analysis. nbcnews.to/3JwoUSe
I've said a lot about Web3/crypto stuff in the past few months, so my Twitter feed is a cesspool of "great investment opportunities" provided I act fast. ...do these ads actually work?
Omg. I didn't book my Seattle > Portland connection back from an international flight, and the price is $499 for a 30 minute flight! Guess I'll take the train for $27!!
