When the history of business communication tools in the first quarter of the 21st century is written, the adoption of instant messaging tools will be seen as where corporate memory went down a hole.
I'll add my experience to this. When I moved from games to browser tech, even though I had way less browser experience than my coworkers, I had a much better understanding of things like render loops, animation timing, and so on. I was able to teach them all sorts of cool tricks.

Unrequested fact of the day. Nipples evolved from sweat glands in the armpits which then migrated to the front to make feeding easier. Milk evolved from sweat. twitter.co...
Look, I'm super happy about things like Codespaces which make it easy to spin up a dev env in the cloud. But "cloud native"/serverless/etc. architectures which make it hard or impossible to do fully-localized dev with 100% open source tooling? No, no, a thousand times, no!

Verdict? I’m thrilled with the first box. Perfectly curated selection that had me engaging my senses and appreciating every sip. My fave this time around was selection β€œC,” which surprised me with some very forward flavors, and lots of complexity. Highly recommend!
Excited to try my first @blindbarrels box!

The @code editor has built-in defaults for linting HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and TSX. How can I re-use *those* defaults from the command line, for instance to create a CI pass that exactly matches whatever @code does by default?
I’m pretty sure @code has built-in support for linting of HTML, CSS, SCSS, and TypeScript. That’s handy! How can I run the exact same lints from the command line, so that whatever VSCode complains about in the editor a CI pass will reject?

The way to communicate successfully is to speak how the audience thinks about, not how the speaker thinks about it. It requires empathy, and knowledge -- not just about the subject. It's really hard, so few people know how to do this, but it's worse that so few people even try.
