Subodh from “Love on the Spectrum” is my favorite. What a joyful soul. I hope he finds love and lives forever making the world better.
Wow, I really don't agree with this. I take pride in the work I did many years ago, the work I'm doing now, and the work I hope to do in the future. Just because some lines of code might not stick around indefinitely doesn't mean the tools, ideas, and techniques aren't sound.

I’m on Twitter way less than I used to be post-Elon-announcement, but I’m still on it. For desktop macOS, I tried just using the web version now and then, but their UX sucks. Now I’m using Tweetbot. It’s simple, minimalist. Easy to pop in…and then promptly leave. Nice. 😁

Good to meet people like @provenauthority who have a nuanced view on #blockchain, neither "nothing else matters" nor "it's nothing but a scam". The truth is at neither of those extremes: real solutions for real problems use a combination of tech fit for purpose.
I’m not going to lie. I hate dealing with forms. Whether it’s forms in Rails or in React or web components or whatever, it always feels like a huge PITA. The work I’m doing now on a new Ruby form gem won’t solve all of that. But for certain domains, it’s looking quite promising!

The copay saga has lasted longer than the refill at this point - these 12 charges and refunds over an entire month are for *one* 28-day refill of my medication. I made 6.5 hours of phone calls about this refill. ONE REFILL.

Should I go back to the rink today (with a k95)? Testing negative. Day 6 of my paxlovid rebound, day 19 of since first covid. I feel fine, but nervous about accidentally pushing too far and slowing recovery.
Speaking of Stranger Things, I’ve been struggling to get through S4 because of how far it has leaned into horror. The characters are, and always have been, the best part of the show. Season four has too much “shock and awe.” I’ll power through, but I’ll watch during daytime 😁
Donnie Darko has half a dozen moments that are worth calling out here, but I’ll stick to this one. m.youtube.com/watch?v=eHQtvC…
Okay Stranger Things using "Running Up That Hill" has me thinking. What's the best use of music in film or TV? And why is it "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap in The OC?
