I’m so-o-o happy to be back using @milanoteapp again. Their new iPad app is solid and makes this platform usable for me again. I’ve already switched my OSS todo list from GitHub Projects to Milanote. Much more to follow!

Nice.
But it's 2022. Writing `<div class="loader"></div>` is very silly. You could just as easily write `<loader-animation></loader-animation>` or `<ui-spinner></ui-spinner>` or…
Just say no to div tag soup! 😅
Didya know that @ChallengesCSS has more than 500 examples of single div loaders? Well, he's kicking off a 4-part series on his approach starting with... spinnerrrrs. css-...

Its GPU (a 1050Ti) isn\u2019t quite up to snuff for that for gaming, though, although having desktop and web browsing at 4K is quite nice.Stepmania defaults to running in a borderless window instead of proper fullscreen, though, and so even though it only internally renders at 1080p, it then tries to upscale to 4K, and gets very laggy as a result. Running at native 4K isn\u2019t really any slower, at least, but it\u2019s stil laggy and unplayable. However, I discovered that if I set the fullscreen mode to exclusive, then setting the resolution to 1080p unlocks much higher framerates, up to 120Hz, because my TV supports VRR and 120Hz. (Ostensibly it supports this on 4K as well, although Stepmania didn\u2019t offer this configuration, likely due to my GPU.)So anyway, Stepmania at 120Hz is ridiculously smooth \u2014 almost uncanny in its smoothness. It also makes steps register with much greater precision, and I\u2019m actually surprised at how much more responsive the game as a whole feels now.It still does nothing to help me with my cough or fatigue, though. But it was still nice to play for a little bit.",

I just watched the documentary-style footage released by the 1/6 committee. I shouldn't have right after eating dinner.
It is sickening, literally.
It is frightening. Unnerving.
Behold the hatred, the seething rage.
Trump's fascist army of evil.

Interesting — a group of post production coordinators, some of whom work for Apple Studios, have unionized with CWA. Per the press release, “This victory marks the first time workers employed by Apple have won an NLRB election for union representation.”
