OMG. I just waded into a HN thread about "extreme" TypeScript typing where they're literally—not jokingly—talking about writing tests for types. Not tests for code that's typed…the actual types themselves. Tests for types.

I don't give a F about "productivity" metrics. I care about happiness and creativity. I care about art. If you want to spend hours tweaking your setup solely because it's fun and inspires you, knock yourself out. You're an artist, not a robot!
