"html": "<p>I like <a href=\"https://ko-fi.com/\">Ko-Fi</a>. They started out as a nice, friendly <a>tip jar</a> system, and they\u2019ve only gotten better over time. They\u2019ve done exactly what I keep saying companies should do: build a useful, sustainable business that makes a good income for all concerned parties. They haven\u2019t gotten on a VC-backed treadmill of unsustainable growth, they haven\u2019t made moves to \u201cmaximize engagement\u201d or check off all the boxes for dystopian hyper-capitalism, and they haven\u2019t gotten into a vicious cycle of worker exploitation.</p><p>Ko-Fi just started out as a tip jar, but then they added monthly memberships (\u00e1 la Patreon) and asset/object sales (like Gumroad and Etsy). And now they\u2019ve added their answer to Fiverr and Upwork: <a href=\"https://ko-fi.com/post/The-All-New-Ko-fi-Commissions-Win-a-Share-of-the-Z8Z7E5WQA\">commissions</a>.</p><p>So anyway <a href=\"https://ko-fi.com/fluffycritter/commissions\">my commissions are open</a>. I\u2019m just focusing on music for now but I might add more things over time.</p>"
