"text": "John Green\u2019s latest vlogbrothers video touches on something worth thinking about:\n\n\n\n\n\nHe\u2019s talking about the low-calorie social media debates that drive what we call \u201cengagement\u201d \u2013 namely, more comments and likes or dislikes \u2013 which leads to increased view counts, and higher priority in algorithms (whether on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, or elsewhere). I\u2019m calling it low-calorie social media because these sorts of debates are easy to have an opinion on, but they\u2019re not substantive (and I\u2019d argue, often not nutritious either).\n\n\n\nActual engagement \u2013 something more lasting and impactful than just a like or a passing comment \u2013 is hard. It\u2019s hard to build, it\u2019s hard to sustain, it\u2019s often messy. But it\u2019s more fulfilling. Fire from last night update: the smoke in the area is terrible. All of me smells of smoke.
The fire crews are still watering down the smoking building.
Hey, it is raining! No, hailing. No, raining. Now hailing. Rain.
I was able to retrieve some things, including my car. Yay!

Soā¦my latest thinking on Elon taking over Twitter.
In the short term, things may actually improve. Mostly technical in nature. Maybe he can help get their business model and finances on track.
In the long runā¦I expect āfree speech maximalismā will pretty much ruin everything.

On Toyota vehicles, you can go to Menu > Projection and answer Yes to reenable.
