Also, the prerequisite  amount of technical knowledge required is sooooo high. People think Mastodon is too technical for goodness sake. That kind of built in gatekeeping rubs me the wrong way. Not that I think it\u2019s intentional, and I know there are a lot of folks working hard on making it more approachable, but maybe that could be a focus instead of designing yet another open standard.</p>",

I think <a href=\"https://www.manton.org/2022/02/09/moving-away-from.html\">our bet on React Native</a> is paying off.</p>\n<p>This version adds a new post screen to your reading goals. As you blog about books you finished reading, Epilogue keeps track of them. At the end of the year, you can use the new post screen to compose a blog post with all the books you\u2019ve read. Each book cover links to your blog post about the book.</p>\n<p>You can see what <a href=\"https://www.manton.org/2022/12/21/year-in-books.html\">my books post for 2022 looks like here</a>.</p>\n<p>This uses a new Micro.blog plug-in called <a href=\"https://github.com/microdotblog/plugin-bookgoals\">Book reading goals</a>.
