Love surfing Yesterweb and finding weird shit like LandChad.

>This is LandChad.net, a site dedicated to turning internet peasants into Internet Landlords by showing them how to setup websites, email servers, chat servers and everything in between.
Began a modest redesign of my personal site today. Planning to use it as the source for my social media posts (and hopefully more blogging). Having so much fun making pixels change colour in code again after too long.
Using #TailwindCSS on it to get a good feel for it as we try it out at #CultureAmp.
I have a #neocities #website that I'm somewhat happy with now!

“The web is a fascinating technology. I myself am frequently enamored with its inner workings. So much so that it’s easy to forget that it’s simply the medium. It’s what we fill it with that counts. And when someone takes the time to add something extraordinary, we should all take the time to appreciate it.”

On #FeedReaderFriday I'm adding some of my favorite Mastodon accounts to my microsub account on Aperture so I can easily read and follow them in the social readers I use like Monocle. To me this is the purest form of social media interaction. #IndieWeb

I've removed my Twitter profile and share links and went full #indieweb instead. My website is a fediverse application, thanks to https://brid.gy

I'm accumulating likes and comments from webmentions and @ThePracticalDev
Every time I’ve thought “this is a niche subject or random thought, no one will be interested but I’ll publish anyway” someone will let me know that it was the EXACT train of thought they were thinking or thing they were looking for.
This honestly feels like one of those rare times in internet history where a good portion of people take back the web to use in meaningful ways again instead of pure commercialism. The #IndieWeb rules! 💥
Thanks to @paulrobertlloyd's #indiekit, this post started life on my personal website, and was auto-syndicated to Mastodon. The future! #indieweb #POSSE
Post-disaster #Introduction:
I am best known for #Scala, #Typelevel, and #http4s. I geek out over #Emacs, #Nix, and the #Indieweb. I'm probably a #Bayesian.
I live in #Indianapolis, #Indiana with a #Dachshund, #Coonhound, #TuxedoCat, and a freshwater #Aquarium or five. I offset my #Jogging with #BBQ. I coach youth #Soccer and attend North United #Methodist Church.
This is a #SelfHosted sequel after a Terraform disaster. Boosts appreciated to relocate my peeps.
