@Una I started trying WebC rather than straight up converting my liquid templates, it was a bad plan I think, because my templates are quite #IndieWeb complex 😂

Big ups to @snarfed.org and the whole #IndieWeb gang for keeping Bridgy alive and awesome.
This project also exposed a small bug in Whim (https://jmac.org/whim/), my own Webmention tool, which I haven't touched in two years (since coming down with a chronic case of dayjob). I did fix it locally.
By gar, I think I might update an open-source project for the first time since 2021, if I can remember how...

A very lovely #IndieWeb adventure last night. Checked in with Bridgy (https://brid.gy) to see what its Mastodon support looked like these days.
Within *minutes*, I had my personal blog syndicating likes and replies to toots linking to my blog posts. The most recent post at https://fogknife.com demonstrates it.
This was possible because I had long ago set up Fogknife to use Bridgy with Twitter (which no longer works, for guessable reasons). Still, an impressively easy switch-over!

To anyone following me on Twitter, with the Twitter API dying imminently, you'll no longer be seeing posts or interactions from me. In some cases I may manually post replies, but expect my account to be read-only going forwards. You can find me on the Fediverse at @www.jvt.me@www.jvt.me which has a richer set of posts from my site's feed, too 👋🏽

@puzzletrailpaul I would not attempt to improve on designs honed by the big companies - nor to charge the medical & public health specialists who have been keeping us informed during the pandemic. Many people, incl Prof Trish Greenhalgh according to her comments on Twitter, are now anxiously looking for new ways of archiving their own content on #IndieWeb & continuing on #POSSE or #PESOS principles. I see a #PublicInterest in models & templates to make this much easier...

If you syndicate your writing you implicitly endorse your publisher. So why would you #POSSE on #Twitter and #Facebook when they behave the way they do? Why would you want your brand associated with those audiences? #indieWeb

I, uh, wrote this: IndieBlocks 0.6.2 Released.
Didn’t go into too much detail; I’d rather focus on overhauling the docs.

Hey @hans - it could probably be both at the same time, at least for now. My current plan is to accept every format, prioritizing #ActivityPub, then #IndieWeb, then #RSS. Like when ATM networks were first new, the hope is that we’ll find at least one protocol in common, and send the highest fidelity messages possible. Eventually, I hope a sane new standard emerges (but I’m not waiting for ActivityPub 3.0) So, in #Emissary, I’m a WebFinger address, a URL, and maybe some day a DID.

Last week I made a linktree clone with nextjs and made three different pages for different audiences.
https://reggi.com for general audiences
https://job.reggi.com for recuriters
https://meet.reggi.com for people I meet IRL
source code is available at https://github.com/reggi/home
all powered by yaml files 😹
