So, like a madman, I decided to try to implement that idea that I had the other day and added a /changelog page to my site. BUT, unlike maybe a more traditional log, that just replicates git log in HTML form, I was inspired by conventional-commits and implemented it so that any commit that starts with "Featured:" will use the rest of the subject line as the entry title, and then the commit body as markdown for the entry blog.

This was a cool retro video of a tablet made for CAD. I never have used one since school and forgot about it.

For the IndieWeb 101 post, I Managed to learn/mangle my way through updating text based on user input with JavaScript.

I want to create a generator that will create a h-card and h-entry template for various blogging tools that #SmallWeb and #IndieWeb users are using.

Shouldn't be too difficult right?

I have an idea for #IndieWeb sites: imagine a fully analogical "streetpass-like" feature, in which you exchange a designed card with people you trust, either in real life or far away.

This card would be DIN A6, so it could be sent as a postcard. The design would contain information about your website, special little informations about you. On the back, a special message to whoever you're giving the card to.

The IndieWeb can be overwhelming for anyone trying to get onboard and participate. h-card's and h-entry's are a great entry point for anyone looking to get indy with their websites.

Lately I’ve been trying to dial back some of my expectations for my #indieweb and #IndieDev work. For me that’s taken the form of http://j.holmes.codes/ideas/ for thoughts/ideas that don’t quite reach the level of “blog post” or “article” but are still worth while.

And http://j.holmes.codes/til/ where I can just put short burbs of things I learned, even if they aren’t novel or game changing.
