@Bsstahl What parts of it do you find a good fit vs not a good fit?
Looked at pre-existing standards for task management? Like the iCal/ CalDav VTODO?
There’s been some brainstorming in the #IndieWeb community, would be great with contributions of findings and ideas: https://indieweb.org/task

Truly baffled by someone who has a kind of About page that links to their various online presences, and the one labelled "blog" takes me to a Substack signup. Whatever else you may think it is, a newsletter is not, on its own, a weblog. At least, not for me.

This is a neat project form Dries:
This project is driven by my curiosity about making websites and web hosting more environmentally friendly, even on a small scale. It’s also a chance to explore a local-first approach: to show that hosting a personal website on your own internet connection at home can often be enough for small sites. This aligns with my commitment to both the Open Web and the IndieWeb.
At its heart, this project is about learning and contributing to a conversation on a greener, local-first future for the web.

I made a significant update to my photography weblog this week, which includes a dramatic new visual style and layout that is more appropriate for photos than what I was using previously. It supports dark mode too! I'm still in the process of migrating content over to my new CDN so the older posts are missing cover images. Let me know what you think. Suggestions and bug reports welcome!

Oh no, it looks like the service I was using to host my #OPML file for the #RSS #OPMLSwap deleted my file. Not really sure why. But I've gotten to a computer and hosted the file on my own #PersonalWebsite
You can find a copy of My OPML file at https://www.justinmcafee.com/files/IAintShootinMis@DigitalDarkAgeCC.opml
Lets #DeEnshittifyTheWeb Even if its just a little at a time.

Nobody offered to share their #OPML files with me :[
Either ya'll haven't had an #RSS practice previously, and that's OK! Pick an rss reader and get started! You can grab my OPML file here: https://file.io/oXheDzLX6VB6
Or you don't feel like you have anything worth sharing ( that's not true! )
