Just added recent tracks across the site and top-users (by scrobbles) to the homepage. Some improvement to the query would be nice to show top active users, but for now this is nice.
I wrote a blog post about black metal featuring some of my favorite tunes. https://nathanupchurch.com/blog/black-metal-fraught-genre-incredible-tunes/ #metal #blackmetal #indieweb #blog
How do we make it easier for "everyone else," the "normies," all those "regular" folk who just want to get online, how do we reduce the friction required to get them to make their own little corners of the web? How do we make the #IndieWeb easier? How do we make the #WebRevival more convenient?
Today I set up the GoToSocial instance this account runs on. I document the still ongoing process to migrate my current account in my Digital Garden. Check https://bjoern.stierand.org/notes/socialmedia/gotosocial/ if you're interested. #IndieWeb

New blog post đź“°
I can't believe it's been a year of blogging for me.
I started on neocities.org and settled on bearblog.dev. The journey has been exciting and helped me through my low times this year.
Thanks to everyone who inspired me with ideas from sharing experiences on their own blogs. I've learned and have been entertained by their stories.
Went through some old blog posts and changed tags, to be more generic and thematic. Because I have so many tags on old posts and it is a trash. :)
Some scattered thoughts on moving home, Ikea, the state of the world and little acts of kindness:

A Week in New Mexico (Weeknotes #24-45)
@jake4480 For me digital gardens overlap with #indieweb in that they're independent sites & another way of using social media on the internet & handling your presence. Digital gardens being the idea that it's for you & not expected to be perfect, constantly evolving. That goes in line with what I'm getting at. But when I say digital homesteading, I'm going beyond social things. I mean, calendar/notes/todo list/back up solutions that are self hosted. Really totally owning your online presence.

Prochain ajout sur mon site perso : une page sur mon usage des IA dans la lignée de « The /ai manifesto » : https://www.bydamo.la/p/ai-manifesto
Sur la mienne, on y trouvera probablement :

- la citation lue chez @cassidoo : « If you couldn't be bothered to write something, I won't be bothered to read it »
Some nice ideas here, may adopt some of them: slashpages, ideas for /something pages to put on your website #IndieWeb https://slashpages.net/
