Day 38 of #100daystooffload
Added another old blog post, this time from 2019, where I first started re-orienting my work away from entertainment and more towards ecopunk.
If humanity’s “Plan A” is to solve our current challenges of global structural failures and systemic problems through infinite growth of technology and energy with no compromises, the intent of my work is to highlight our total lack of a “Plan B.”.

Added a blog post. It's an interview from 2020, but I'm adding it here as a backup in case the magazine that interviewed me goes offline.
⟣ The fossil party is over and it’s time for social movements to take control of the capitalist machine and figure out the most humane way to put it down.⟢

someone can help me to integrated WordPress site with #indieweb ?
@jake4480 It is impossible not to love a post with Zappa, Burroughs, John Waters, Bukowski, Joey Ramone, and SpongeBob. Thanks for submitting to the #IndieWebCarnival Jake! #IndieWeb
Wrote something for February's theme 'affirmations' for @vhbelvadi's #IndieWeb Carnival. Huge thanks to @artlung for tipping me off to it.
This was a fun one to write. Got some ideas out I've had buzzing around for a while.

A short post about breaking bad rules and doing more good than harm.
Working on my personal site! These changes are not live yet, I will release this layout later today (I think).
Wrote a new blog post about how I added "Copy Code" buttons to all the code snippets on my blog.
Inspired by @dbushell and Salma Alam-Naylor [1].
https://www.ragman.net/musings/copy_code/
I hadn't known how difficult it was to copy snippets of text using voice commands (instead of a mouse/keyboard).
I have something like Carpal Tunnel myself, and can see needing to use Voice Commands in the future, so this felt (selfishly) extra important!

I added to a list of design and technology podcasts and independent magazines here: see what people who are building an independent internet and liberatory tech are reading and listening to:

gathered especially here in Mastodon - and I'm starting to add tools and guides people share to combat enshittification from AI scraping to opting out of big extractivist tech

I added a few more podcasts and independent publishing in part 2 here:

also starting to add tools and guides people share in Mastodon to combat enshittification, from AI scraping to opting out of big extractivist tech

@SnugglyBun Is there anything in particular you're looking for when you say "indie web-friendly"?
*Any* web hosting service should be able to give you a space into which to upload files to be served, connected to the HTTP/HTTPS end of a hostname/domain name. That's *what they do*.
Many offer *more*, of course. But even when they do you don't need to use that.
The key IMO being to not lock yourself into some service, but to keep your ability to migrate to another.
