Strong urge to start over from scratch with my IW site.

I didn't know about the #indieweb when I halfway built it, got inspired to finish by IW and tried to adapt but it's really a standard blog with some hastily activated plugins.

Now that I've seen many others, I would do so much different.

I want to avoid stagnating with my #writing, so I tried a topic that didn't feel so intense

...but the moment I touch anything, the bottom drops out & the depth of it opens

...my brain can't help but see a complex web of connections between the most mundane & the most profound

...while it's beautiful to be a complex thinker, it makes everything take time & weight

...and sometimes, I just want to say stuff

I'm hopeful about the news that Fosstodon may survive under new administration.

But I am going to to start periodically backing up my toots in a structured format to eventually – hopefully – populate my own CMS which will later end up being the source of the content (toots, blog posts, photos pushed to pixelfed, etc.).

The use case is I'm interested in #indieweb, #smolweb, #smallweb and I'd just rather host my random little videos myself instead of putting them on Youtube.
