Sometimes the interplay of #CSS & #HTML feel like magic to me...
They let me create even the most subtle shifts that mean something to me.
Like I thought it would be a nice visual nod to the unhinged nature of my #website changelog to have the "log" part actually "unhinging" itself.
So, with a little <span> & "transform" ✨maaaaagic✨, the smallest little tweak brought me an outsized amount of #joy

Welcome @adelinawrites!
You are not alone in wanting a corner for yourself.
Judging by the screenshot, may I suggest looking into adding subresource integrity tags for external content? Don't let Google silently change the way your site looks. 🙂

I wanted to provide programmatic access to the next upcoming event information on our community websites.
We store the event calendar as Eleventy Global Data File, so I combined that with Netlify Functions to create a serverless function API endpoint that on every build, will update the response to include the next scheduled event.
I wrote about how to do it in my blog!

Our new 🤭 facebook banner 😆💀 - post 1 of 3. (View it all together on our profile page.)
We've never done a multi-part post before and don't plan on making a habit of this. So apologies for crowding your feed today, but we thought you'd enjoy this.
Even though we've been effectively ghosting facebook since at least 2017, it seemed like a good time to slap a surgeon general style message on our page, lol.
And we know we're preaching to the choir here but still wanted to take a minute to reflect on what makes Pixelfed a far better place to be.
⚬We love that it doesn't optimize for addiction at the expense of authenticity, unlike every centralized platform.
⚬We love that engagement feels real here, not gamified. People actually see and respond to posts—not because the algorithm incentivized it, but because they want to.
⚬We love that sharing on PF is about connection, not metrics.
⚬We love that there are no ads, no doomscrolling, and no pressure to chase trends. Just thoughtful human posts and interactions.
In conclusion: WE ARE ALL IN ON PIXELFED!!! 🫶😘

(View it all together on our profile page.)\n\n\n\n\nWe've never done a multi-part post before and don't plan on making a habit of this. So apologies for crowding your feed today, but we thought you'd enjoy this.\n\n\n\n\nEven though we've been effectively ghosting facebook since at least 2017, it seemed like a good time to slap a surgeon general style message on our page, lol.\n\n\n\n\nAnd we know we're preaching to the choir here but still wanted to take a minute to reflect on what makes Pixelfed a far better place to be.\n\n\n\n\n\u26acWe love that it doesn't optimize for addiction at the expense of authenticity, unlike every centralized platform.\n\n\n\n\n\u26acWe love that engagement feels real here, not gamified. People actually see and respond to posts\u2014not because the algorithm incentivized it, but because they want to.\n\n\n\n\n\u26acWe love that sharing on PF is about connection, not metrics.\n\n\n\n\n\u26acWe love that there are no ads, no doomscrolling, and no pressure to chase trends. Just thoughtful human posts and interactions.\n\n\n\n\nIn conclusion: WE ARE ALL IN ON PIXELFED!!! \ud83e\udef6\ud83d\ude18\n\n\n\n#community #friendship #connection #authenticity #Fediverse #Pixelfed #Underdog #decentralized #opensource #linux #darktable #SmallWeb #IndieWeb"
