I really like personal homepages and have quite a list of them bookmarked. I'll post one every week unless I fall behind this schedule. đ So here's Cool Personal Homepages #CPHP Vol. 45: "The Boston Diaries" https://boston.conman.org/

Lately Iâve been binging Cybercultural articles and this time the latest one is about RSS, one of my favorite technologies which continues to grow in adoption in some corners of the #Indieweb
Thank you so much for the research and superb writing that goes into these @ricmac
This one is fantastic.

@jackyan thanks for the reminder! Alas, that nonprofit group blog, AltPlatform, didn't last long. But it did make me check out the open web initiatives of the time, like Mastodon and #IndieWeb. Here's a copy of that June 2017 post you referenced: https://web.archive.org/web/20170624064533/http://altplatform.org:80/2017/06/07/mastodon/
One of the niche features I'm reslly proud of on my website is how my blog posts look like when they are printed as a PDF or on a paper.
So if you like reading my posts but prefer to read them on paper while sipping chamomile tea in your reading nook, it's very much possible.

ÂĄUn gusto!
Most of the people I read and/or follow are English speakers (and thatâs cool), but my mother tongue is Spanish so Iâm wondering if there are any Spanish speaking people or blogs I could follow?
I know very few people on the #IndieWeb that speak the same language as me. đ
Fediverse doesn't have "verified accounts", but did you know that you can add a verified link to your profile? And it's free!
1. Make a simple website with https://simplepagebuilder.app.
2. Add a little bit of HTML. https://stefanbohacek.com/blog/resources-for-keeping-the-web-free-open-and-poetic/#make-your-website-fediverse-ready

new blog post: itâs only nix if it comes from the utrecht region of the netherlands. otherwise itâs just sparkling input hashing
a couple weeks back i thought âwhat if my blog engine had cachingâ. i concluded that i basically wanted nix, but nix doesnât work on windows, so i ended up building a tiny imitation of nix inside a blog engine
I've been recently seeing a lot of chatter about people wanting to see more personal blogs, forums and non-corporate social medias.
All it takes to change the tide is for people to start using them and building communities. Forums are not dead as a technology and if there are enough people who like to use them, they are easier than ever to set up.
Build the forum you want to see in the world.

This is my roadmap, i handle it as a live document, i manually edit the one on my website/devblog.
