Is there a project that merge functionality of #Indieweb with #activitypub ?
E.g. a cross compatibily layer with PubSubHubBub, webmentions, etc
To let #indieweb user, website owner comment on #activitypub user & vice versa.
I know following RSS/Atom wouldn't be an issue & that works. I'm more interested in dynamic notifications, pingbacks, search, federation between activitypub & indieweb.

Features it has:
- a home page, an about page, and a blog page with several personal blog posts on disability-related topics
- an RSS feed
- a comment widget
- a few buttons
- a favicon
- a little bit of custom CSS (I made it green!)
- a custom domain
- all of this is hand-coded by a beginner (with lots of help and occasional minor copy-pasting from online articles/tutorials, and with the exception of most of the CSS, which I downloaded from online)
Features I want to add in the future:
- more CSS customization (make it look pretty)
- mobile optimization (currently it's readable for me, but not great, and probably not super accessible)
- more stuff I'm sure

Are there alternatives to doomscrolling through news, big social platforms and monopoly media? We have options for what we consume and create designers have more than most.

Mastodon’s concern regarding the potential for harm with dunking does need some context however, researcher Hilda Bastian has a highly detailed overview of over 30 studies on quote posts on Twitter and their impact. Bastian notes: “There’s conflicting evidence on whether QTs increase or decrease incivility, and whatever effect there is, it doesn’t seem to be major.”
I think this dunking is real, but there are many other problems with social media that Mastodon does not attempt to address. Not sure quote posts are make or break.
I think I have all the pieces set up and Umbrella is ready to go. It is a simple #11ty starter site that has IndieAuth, Micropub, and Webmentions built in using Netlify functions.
