This left me wonder. <br />No one advertised here an \"X/twitter or other status/downtime/uptime page of a server\" . <br />There is no <a href=\"https://status.aus.social\"><span>https://</span><span>status.aus.social</span><span></span></a> or aus.social/status <br />Whole situation has been made weirder by <a href=\"https://isup.me\"><span>https://</span><span>isup.me</span><span></span></a> which checks for downtime, and \"thinks\" 502 is normal return code page, marks site as working fine. <br />So, what exactly happened &amp; what was that maintenance, in technical details? <br />Is aus.social hosted on single server hardware/vps, because if there was a second server for load balancing - there probably wouldn't be such issue. <br />Should we expect this situation to repeat? <br />What is recomended official status page\\downtime checker? (that is not hosted on this server and will be accessible in case of downtime)<br />There is no known contact form with Admin, like IRC\\XMPP, outside of Fediverse.<br />Is server maintained by single person or team or public organisation ? <br />Also, if it's single person, WHO IS exactly the Admin ?<br />because this server is advertised and suggested as trusted and reliable on joinmastodon.org , that supposed to communicate to users upfront on any issues. <br />Also, if you are not on aus.social, but anywhere on fediverse, this is example of how this <a href=\"https://aus.social/tags/fediverse\">#<span>fediverse</span></a> <a href=\"https://aus.social/tags/activitypub\">#<span>activitypub</span></a> is still centralized around single points of failures like DNS, central servers. I have served a diverse clientele, including software houses, financial and governmental institutions, news agencies, and companies of various sizes.\n\n\n\nThroughout my career, I have been instrumental in the development of several mission-critical software systems, including life-saving medical software, secure messaging platforms, high-performance video platforms, and Open Source projects that are widely used globally.\n\n\n\nIn my current role, I lead a talented team of software engineers in developing cutting-edge scientific software across Europe, primarily in the field of structural biology. I work closely with some of the world\u2019s most renowned scientific institutions to deliver innovative solutions that facilitate scientific research. I have also been actively involved in several EU Open Data Access projects aimed at improving the accessibility and reuse of scientific data, including contributing to the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  A particular focus of my recent work has been on improving metadata capture and data accessibility to enhance reproducibility, interoperability, and AI-driven analysis in drug discovery. My expertise has been recognized in the industry, and I have been a speaker at numerous scientific conferences, influencing EU data sharing policy.\n\n\n\nAdditionally, I have served as the technical lead for the Elgg project, a widely adopted Open Source social networking platform used by universities, governments, and companies worldwide to streamline internal and external communication.
