If you're thinking about missing out, don’t!
I keep having fun with #WeirdWebOctober. Most fun and silly and exploratory month for my #CSS #HTML & #JavaScript skills since I had a crazy boss who had me include java applets, flash movies, css, and sliced up photoshop designs into big Netscape <framesets>. https://artlung.com/weird-web-october/ It also feels very #IndieWeb to me to make web pages for fun.
"The beauty of a personal website, however, is that while they may seem to be "old school", they haven't died - not if we don't let them. There's nothing stopping us from making a website for ourselves, even if it gets little to no traffic. There's nothing stopping me from doing this just because I love it, carving out a corner on the internet, and planting a flag in it, declaring it as my own. You can leave or you can stay. But it's still going to be mine."
A manifesto of sorts; or, my love letter to the personal website https://aroceu.com/manifesto
Alongside my own efforts to build a personal digital music library, I've been enjoying @endonend's Crucial Tracks project. Using it to create a journal and discover what others share has been fruitful. Hopefully a practice I can maintain. Sharing my latest entry here as it intersects with my professional interests and feelings about the ongoing goings-on in my particular line of work. If you're into music, I highly recommend giving it a go.

I really like personal homepages and have quite a list of them bookmarked. I'll post one every week unless I fall behind this schedule. 😉 So here's Cool Personal Homepages #CPHP Vol. 49: "cameron kaiser" http://www.armory.com/~spectre/

In one quick experiment last night, I tested Bunny for video hosting. That was really simple, embedding an iframe with the video url as src, and applying a minimal amount of styling in the theme to make the borders look better.
I then added my Clips (section) to the site, which I'll need to replicate on my front page. If costs are sensible, I will migrate all of my youtube hosted retro gaming content here.

Got my physical copy of the *Internet Phone Book* in the mail today, in which I have an entry. Proudly indie since 1996!
