It feels good, someone reaching out to you after reading your site :tealheart:

First time, for me

Thursday will be time again to collect our minds and hearts (on a Zoom call! Cameras optional!) to make Our WWW do exactly what we want! I love #HTML and #CSS - maybe I can transmit some of that to you. https://events.indieweb.org/2025/11/front-end-study-hall-040-fS7a4ApbCSsa #IndieWeb #SmallWeb Go make a web page!

After way too long, I've finally dropped Google in favor of #PageFind for search on my website.

Je diffuse à nouveau sur le Fediverse et Bluesky via
fed.brid.gy. Il suffit de suivre
@h.soucy.cc sur Bluesky, Mastodon ou Pixelfed, par exemple.

Happy 6-year blogiversary to me! 🎉 To celebrate I want to talk about other peoples' blogs, specifically blogrolls.

Blogrolls are “lists of other sites that you read, are a follower of, or recommend”. Any blog can host a blogroll, or sometimes websites can be one big blogroll.

I can honestly say that I’m starting to lose my sanity a little bit from how hard I’ve been working on photo stuff for the last week and a half since #indieweb Berlin 😂 but the end is in sight. I’m treating today as a mini deadlines to tie off what I’ve wanted for a long time and have finally tackled:

* all blog posts will get corresponding galleries, with matching alt text, variants for jpg/avif, widths and aspect ratios.
* scripts to monitor and do all the conversions, plus sync to AWS.
* all of it hooked up to Cursor so I can just give it a natural language command and get back plain English status summaries like I’m frigging Tony Stark.

Gave my site a small visual tune-up: separate layout tweaks for desktop and mobile, and the ASCII page header has officially been retired.

Sometimes life feels like a loop — repeating patterns that shift with every choice we make.
In this piece, I reflect on how cycles, connections, and small decisions shape our paths in unexpected ways.

Small acts of rebellion to give you back a sense of control

Collation of suggestions from lovely Mastodon people

Re-posting this to test a webmentions thing 😅 So sorry for the noise.

⭐️ @Bonfire is a wonderful initiative for friendly community building. The project is focused on making things easy for people to create meaningful spaces to organize. It has good federation support, so people can participate from across the different networks.

They've launched a campaign to help launch it to a wider audience: https://www.indiegogo.com/en/projects/bonfire/community

I like the install party level, looking forward to getting an instance running with others! #Bonfire #Crowdfunding #Fediverse #IndieWeb #OSS
