Ah, the circle of life!
#WeekNotes 004 is out on #BurgeonLab 📆✍️

Another late week note. I'll definitely try to write one earlier this week!
This week it is all about #Indieweb! There's #IRC, #webrings, #webmentions and a smattering of links I came across.

THE HIDDEN NODE — /signal
─────────────────────────
if you’ve wandered this far,
it’s worth staying a moment.
micro-models.
local agents.
quiet experiments.
small systems doing real work.
no noise.
no shouting.
just a node broadcasting
useful signals into the fediverse.

Musings for the end of November 2025

I've been enjoying the simplicity of my bearblog, but am torn on whether to keep it, replicate it back into Kirby, or with an eye on the future recreate in maybe 11ty or Astro. Too much choice.
Just got a seasonal job. You know what that means: Time to update the /now page!
If your entire internet life happens inside TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, or Twitter, you’re simply mall-walking, and malls are fine: predictable, climate-controlled, food courts and chain stores on every corner, but don’t mistake the mall for the city. The city is bigger, stranger, full of alleys, basements, and hidden doors. That’s the real internet, and you haven’t been there in a while.

I made a new blog post and since I still haven't sorted out fedi-ing my blog or putting some kind of auto posting together I'm telling you about it manually. Like the old days.
The Personal Season, a response to this month's #IndieWebCarnival theme of cycles and fluctuations.
A post contemplating Winter, solstice and equinox and the embracing of constant cycles.
Dave Winer blogging about a new commenting system to connect blogs. I’ve been following his recent work on FeedLand and related projects, so curious how the plumbing for this is going to work:
The first thing to know is that all comments are blog posts. You write the comment on a blog that you own. And maybe that will be the only way anyone other than you will ever see it. But you don’t have to “go” to the blog to write the comment. You stay right where you are.
Sounds like there could be parallels with Webmention too.
How to use the internet again. (Well probably for most youngsters it's not again but for the first time 😜)

Calling all photo nerds: mark your calendars for December 7th. I’m hosting my first #indieweb event! We’re going to talk shop in a few weeks and everyone of all skill levels welcome (yes, camera phones are real cameras)

The site has been updated today. It now includes translations, full responsiveness and better accessibility so more people can read and explore without barriers.

welcome to the indie web, nikhil ramesh
I build intelligence at scale. My work exists at the intersection of seamless functionality and futuristic design, crafting systems where AI meets human intuition.
Currently building the AI-native stack for the Office of the CFO. Previously architecting web-scale RAG and natural language understanding for the world’s largest platforms.
A hearty welcome to the indie web Nikhil. Now, please add RSS support to your site as well. Thank you.
Just got done coding my website, and now it's time to kick the tires. I'd like to know if things are broken, how accessible to screen readers it is, and if webmentions are actually working. It's supposed to be compliant to the latest W3C design standards and WCAG 2.2a.https://simplygregario.us/status/2025-11-24/fingers-crossed/ #Testing #WebDesign #Mastodon #Webmentions #IndieWeb
