This was one of my most favorite reads (listens?) of the year. Highly recommended!

Episode 32 is live. A look at decentralised social media, why it matters and how taking back control of our online Identity changes everything.
Another month down on daily online journals
This might be the year I've notebook-ed more than ever before:

The most common way to provide updates to fans is via social media platforms. While these platforms may be a good way to reach new audiences, they're not great with providing updates to your fans.
Court rejection, seek real feedback, increase your surface area for luck, and assume everything is learnable.

Episode 2 is up. Social media is fading, and social protocols are rising. A look at why the future belongs to open networks that we control, not platforms.

🌒 Lighthouse Lore IV
A quiet beacon on the edge of the Fediverse.
The Lantern stays lit for travellers, creators, misfits and night-owls. No algorithms, no noise — just a warm doorway in the digital fog.
Come in, share the fire, stay as long as you like.
The Lighthouse keeps watch.

Content warning:Massive digital changes
So! Today is the 1st day of December, and it's the day I've chosen to make massive digital changes, gather my project and start them.

"Dealgorithmed is a newsletter for the people who still love and care about the web, for those who are tired of doomscrolling the same three sites day after day."

Tried to document Iocaine on the IndieWeb wiki, but I can't log in because IndieLogin is flagged by Iocaine for being a fake Firefox and thus served a garbage response instead of the links that power the login. Oops.

As we close in on the new year, will be doing a 2026 predictions of the #OpenSocialWeb.
Here was my predictions for this for 2025...Think i got maybe 20-30 % right based on a glance at it. And maybe 15 percent will have to do some research to see if I got close. Rest WAY wrong. https://www.timothychambers.net/2024/12/24/predictions-for-the-open-social.html
Will look over and evaluate it.
This is why blogging and the #indieweb is cool. To not loose things like this into the social web slipstream and see how such things changed over time.
Content warning:IndieWeb Book Club November 2025
My contribution to the November 2025 IndieWeb Book Club hosted by @artlung
I procrastinated until the bitter end, but it was such a rewarding, immersive experience revisiting a book that had been gathering dust upon the shelf for over a decade. "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud explores the comic medium but cleverly delves into the core of human conscious awareness. An amazing read no doubt!
